The Radisson Ambassador has ceased operations has closed its doors as of April 29, 2015. All bookings have been reaccomodated at Verdanza Hotel in a Superior Room category. Verdanza is accepting the Radisson vouchers & rate so there is no need to rebook. Should clients wish to cancel there is no penalty & no further compensation will be offered.

Barceló Maya Beach Resort 1.Spa & Fitness Center: May 11th until September 28th, 2015. (Guests will be allowed to use the Spa at Palace and temporary Fitness Center at Maya Mall Shopping Center) 2. Adults Only Pool at Lobby Beach: May 11th until August 17th, 2015 (Affected rooms - nearby will be closed). 3. Water Sports Center: July 27th until November 30th, 2015 (Facilities will be provided temporarily in front of the Dolphinarium) 4. Renovation of Lobby Colonial & Tropical: August 17th until November 30th, 2015 5. Renovation of Plaza Mexicana: August 17th until November 30th, 2015        6. Activities Pool at Lobby Caribe: August 31st until November 30th, 2015 (Affected rooms - nearby will be closed). Barceló Maya Palace Deluxe 1. “Covered Path” that will connect with Barceló Maya Beach Resort: May 11th until July 27th, 2015 2.  New Spa: August 31st until September 28th. (Guest will be able to use the Spa of the Complex) 3. Renovation of Fitness Center: August 31st until December 14th, 2015 (Guest will be able to use the Fitness Center of the Complex). All facilities will remain open as normal and all reservations taken during the construction will not be majorly affected.

Baha Mar Hotel & Casino:

·         Announced this week that they are relocating clients traveling in June and July, notifications have already been sent out.

·         They have stated that they are accepting new reservations for travel September 8, 2015 (released in the trade above) but are not yet relocating August and early September arrivals.  This decision will be revisited with them the first week of June as they are still working to determine the official opening date of the resort. 

·         We have closed their inventory out until January 16, 2015 to avoid taking any new reservations.  The opening of this complex has been delayed multiple times so far and until we have more concrete information we have elected not to take any additional bookings.  Relocations remain in effect only for June and July travel at this time.

Melia Cabo Real is now closed indefinitely.

As per Melia’s Hurricane Policy:

Hereby we request the extension of the Stop Sale of Melia Cabo Real, until further notice. This is into the reminder of 2015 and 2016 inclusive. 

A recap has been sent of the reservations made for after December 2015. These reservations will be honored in any of the Melia brand of hotels.

They are working on the reconstruction of the property and as soon as they have confirmed details of the re-opening they will pass it along.
