Please note that as of today, AM Resorts has announced that Zoetry Casa del Mar will no longer be part of their portfolio.  Since Hurricane Odile, we have had this property shut down so there are no affected bookings which need to be relocated.  

As mentioned below, there will be a new property in Los Cabos - Breathless Los Cabos which will be opening in December 2015.  I will be updating you once we have reviewed all information and have launched property through HBSi.

Please be advised, as part of a mutual agreement and effective immediately, AMResorts will no longer be the provider of sales, marketing and brand management services for Zoëtry Casa Del Mar Los Cabos. However, as part of our efforts to provide our mutual clients with the best possible vacation experience, we look forward to the continued growth of our brands in the destination of Los Cabos with the opening of Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort & Spa coming December 1, 2015.  Ideal for sophisticated singles, couples and friends, Breathless Cabos San Lucas is located on Medano Beach, one of the only swimmable beaches and featuring stunning views of the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas.

In October 2014, an additional five Family Concierge room categories were added to the inventory at Paradisus Palma Real.  They have now been removed from our contract.  Existing bookings will be honored as made.  The categories no longer available are as follows:

H/NAS/Baha Mar has extended their delayed opening until September 9, 2015. Please see below for compensation being offered:

• Rebook hotel stay at Baha Mar Casino Hotel for a later date or cancel reservation and book later: § Airfare change/cancel fees covered by Baha Mar § Rebooked hotel stay will be complimentary and equal to the number of nights they have previously booked (9/9/15 and beyond) • Guest still traveling over same dates § Partner must relocate the guest to another property of similar rating and room type (excluding all inclusive properties with the exception of Melia) • Baha Mar Casino Hotel will pay the difference between what was paid for their Baha Mar Casino Hotel stay and the new property With the continued lack of information and inability to set an opening date there is still concern about opening this property up in Calypso.  Once an opening date is set, Caribbean Procurement will determine an appropriate buffer to put on that date and reopen the property for sale.  They will continue to remain in close contact with Baha Mar for any updates and will share them as they are received.  Shauna will be in touch with another update on July 7 unless more information is received before then.

Rumor has it that Riu has purchased Radisson Aruba and will take over on July 1^st.  At this point in time Riu will not confirm or deny anything to us but we have information directly from our tourism and ground operator contacts in Aruba that leads us to believe that what we have heard is true.

As a precaution we will be shutting down inventory for Radisson Aruba for travel July 1 to October 31 – the July 1^st takeover date is very quickly approaching if it is true and because we’re not sure of what the transition will entail (unsure if closing to renovate as they did with Westin) we want to limit the number of new bookings that we are taking until we have final details.

Riu is here on Tuesday, June 9^th for our annual meeting and we expect to have details on this acquisition, at the latest, following that meeting. 

We will be sure to keep you informed of details as we receive them.
