PASSENGERS AT DESTINATION - ALAMO TROUBLESHOOTING

Scenario:

**Passengers at depot desk Alamo does not see their reservation or they see a cancelled reservation

Step 1 :                      Call Alamo Desk: 1-800-662-2725… Extension 1

Step 2:                       Provide booking code from DG F14 (this is the contract ID) **see screen shot below

Step 3:                       Provide voucher Number:    This is our booking number  - **see screen shot below

Step 4:                       Make new reservation with Alamo and update f8 notes.

Step 5:                       Notify Depot directly :           

They can view the new confirmation immediately

                                    If you are unable to get thru to the Depot provide confirmation to agent to pass to clients.

**Alamo will bill us as normal

F5 - F8 CAR Confirmation screen on the booking:

DG screen F14

booking code is contract ID

Inventory Code is the CAR TYPE as per Alamo

Calypso booking number is the Voucher (Alamo will ask for this)

      PUNTA CANA – NICKELODEON  NO ETA A THIS TIME..  HOTEL HAS SENT US MULTIPLE TEMPLATES WITH RATES – MARIA is trying to get clarification on which is the most up to date

AND/OR trying to get copy of HOTEL CONTRACT.  Hotel is “supposedly” opening May 1^st. However:

Olympus is here from the DR – advised Maria that the hotel is nowhere near complete and not sure what they will be inspecting when they go down next month

      BARCELO BAVARO PALACE – Jackie got response from her contact who said they will not be offering us complimentary airport shuttle as our net rates – marked up is lower than hotel website.

      CARIBBEAN 2017 ROLLOVERS -  Christina advised that the list of hotels with rollovers is on the intranet.  She will advise us where on the intranet it is. 

There are issues with some of the suppliers, i.e.  Riu, Barcelo etc.     EBB rates were loaded however there was a release schedule that was added to the products.  Should we get any

Requests go to Maria/Christina/Jackie/Robin/Mario before doing a one off code   they may be able to amend the release schedule on a case by case basis.

Moving forward when they get the 2016/2017 contracts in house  whatever contracts provide rollovers for 2018 travel will be loaded at the same time as the original contract.

      RIU PALACE ARUBA – per Maria’s previous emails is completely open.  They were only provided 3 bookings where the agents were requesting commission protection.. 2 LTs & 1 GW.

Riu will be providing a press release hopefully today if not by weeks end – with FAQ’s from all of their selling partners regarding customer service issues.
