Amtrak Process and Margin

FCGP has been able to negotiate an agreement with Amtrak for rail only throughout the United States and Canada.  The process for this new partner is below; however, the margin on this product is 10%.    Please review the process and advise if you have any concerns.   If you would not like your organization to have access to Amtrak due to the margin, please advise by end of day Thursday, July 9th.

  • Process: 
    • Please quote all rail tickets from http://www.amtrak.com
    • Please quote the total amount (inclusive of taxes) to your client from the website. This amount will be visible once you add the tickets to “your cart”.  The net rate will be a 10% deduction of this rate. 
    • Please do not confirm the tickets on the website.
    • Please email the request to sales@ylginc.com . Be sure to include the following: clients name, ages (if children are traveling), one-way or roundtrip, depots, amount as seen on the website, exact requested times, class of travel (Saver, Value, Flexible and Premium) and train number (if possible). 
    • Any requests will be responded within 24-hours. 
    • Full payment is needed at time of confirmation.
  • Caution:  Please consider all train requests as not confirmed until an email is received from Amtrak/Yankee Holidays confirming the train times, ticket amounts and class of travel is received. Full payment is needed at time of confirmation.
  • Full payment is required to be entered into Calypso at time of confirmation.
  • This is a reduced commission of 10%.
