February 27, 2015

• H/SLU/Windjammer Landing: Asked if we can have the 2015/2016 rollover loaded as hotel direct advised us to use 2015 contract until 2016 contract is finalized. Jackie F is looking into this.
• H/MBJ/Royalton White Sands: 
• Summer promo is currently being loaded for Luxury Room, Luxury Room Ocean View, and Luxury Room Ocean View Diamond Club
• Connecting Luxury Room/DC & connecting Luxury Ocean View Room/DC will be loaded for 2016
• H/SJU/Embassy Suites Dorado Del Mar: Asked if we can have specific room categories loaded as right now we only have ROH.
• H/PLS/Somerset Grace Bay: Asked if we can have the Great Escape Promo loaded as it is valid for sale until December 2015. Jackie F is looking into this.
• H/OCJ/Moon Palace: Will be loaded and ready for sale for the IC market on Monday March 2, 2015.
• Asol Properties:
• Asol Tiara Cap Cana - Opening June 1st. FCGP Will open the property to sell from July 1 but this is all dependent on how the property to be. Maria T is going to Punta Cana in April and will advise upon her return.
• Asol Sanctuary Cap Cana - Goal is to have it loaded and ready by March 9 2015
• Asol Del Mar & Asol Luxury Village - Follow RFP process for any requests. Double check DA screen to make sure supplier info is there. If not, Caribbean team will update for us.
• H/PUJ/Chic Hotel: The contract is ready on our end but we are waiting on supplier to fill out FCGP contract. 
• H/MBJ/Grand Bahi & H/PUJ/Grand Bahia: Keep a tab on any requests we get for these properties and let Jolie or Vicki know by the end of the week.

Mexico Extravaganza - Products Offline

Latin America - Mexico

All AM Resorts, Playa Resorts and Melia resorts are not pricing for the Mexico Extravaganza. Procurement is working with AM Resorts as everything is loaded on our side so it looks like it's an issue with their side. They will update.

In the meantime, all other products for this promotion are loaded and pricing correctly.

M/ANA/Disney Ticket Update

US West - California - Anaheim

We have just been notified by Florida Procurement that both Walt Disney World and Disneyland will incur park ticket increases.

This increase is in effect at the gates already but will not impact our wholesale rates until March 4^th.  

Disneyland

·         All bookings made prior to March 3^rd, will be recapped and the lower/original rate will be protected. No change in the cancellation policy as it is based on voucher redemption.

M/WDQ/Disney Ticket Update

US East - Florida - Orlando

We have just been notified by Florida Procurement that both Walt Disney World and Disneyland will incur park ticket increases.

This increase is in effect at the gates already but will not impact our wholesale rates until March 4^th.  

Walt Disney World

·         On-Site Tickets   (WDQ)  No change to reporting. All bookings made prior to March 4^th will be protected at the lower/original rates.

·         Off-Site Tickets   (MCO)  We are required to report and pay for all off-sites tickets to Disney to protect the lower/original rate. At this point, the tickets would become 100% non-refundable. If there is an extreme circumstance, we can request a refund from Disney which can be submitted by our Liberty Travel Calypso Support team. 

H/LIR/Hilton Papagayo - Secrets Papagayo

Latin America - Costa Rica 

Please note Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica (H/LIR/HIL) will be re-branded as Secrets Papagayo effective 11NOV15. Recap with notes as follows:

1.        Highlighted bookings: notify temporary name change from HILTON PAPAGAYO to PAPAGAYO (01MAR15-05MAY15 travel)

2.        All others:       must relocate or cancel (06MAY15-10NOV15 travel)

3.       Relocations:  follow below directions

Guests scheduled to travel to Papagayo Resort & Spa from May 6, 2015 through November 10, 2015 will be protected at Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica in a comparable room category based upon availability.  Please contact Rocio Rossainz, Director of Sales for Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica, at rrossainz@amresorts.com to move bookings from Papagayo Resort & Spa to Dreams Las Mareas.

**UPDATE**

After further discussions with Christina Favre, please note we do not have either Swiss Travel or AM Resorts supporting the difference in transfer rates from Hilton Papagayo to Dreams Las Mareas. Please advise any selling partners questioning this additional charge.

AM RESORTS STATED:

Transfers will be on their guests own the extra cost in transfer is much lower than cost of upgrading from one hotel to another.

M/MCO/Discovery Cove

US East - Florida - Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando recently renovated the Dolphin Cove area and dolphin feedings are no longer available. An interaction will continue to be available with dolphins in small groups and to take photos.

This change does not affect anything at Discovery Cove and guests can still participate in the signature dolphin interaction at Discovery Cove.

H/NYC/Manhattan at Times Square

US East - New York City

Manhattan at Times Square is no longer available in Calypso. We were sourcing a rate through Bonotel and they have decided to no longer contract this hotel.

We are in the process of looking at other receptors that contract this hotel for us to switch over to.

All existing bookings are being honored.

Regarding Ritz Carlton- Comfort You Packages: Marisol advised they should all be loaded but she will double check.

Iberostar Montego Bay Oversell:

Karyn advised she received an update for Iberostar Montego Bay that 14 Libgo Bookings have been oversold for one night. Iberostar is trying to have clients moved for one night to Half Moon. The one night is Sunday, February 15, 2015.

She is not sure if it is GW/LT or any other selling business. They are currently working on it alongside with Ressup.

Just a heads up if you receive a phone call. It is currently trying to be resolved

Walt Disney World Sightseeing: Star Wars Weekends

US East - Florida - Orlando - Disney

Star Wars Weekends will be held every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)  from May 15 - June 14, 2015

Here are the exact Star Wars Weekend dates. This information is also on the Official Disney Website as well as what the event contains & possible listing of Celebrities that will be appearing ( there is an extra fee to meet each Celebrity )
This does not require extra admission, it is included in the cost of the ticket price, however getting an Autograph from the Celebrities will be an additional cost.

Weekend I:  May 15 - 17, 2015

Weekend II:  May 22 - 24, 2015

Weekend III:  May 29 - 31, 2015

Weekend IV:  June 5 - 7, 2015

Important Update: Pope Visit to USA in September

Just an FYI, the Pope will be in the East Coast for the following dates, In light of this, we are asking that any stop sells, rate updates, blackouts or any type of messages pertaining to any of our hotels in the Mid Atlantis (NY, DC & PHL) be communicated and handled with urgency to avoid additional customer service issues during this period.

-       Lands Sept. 22-23 in Washington and visit the White House, address Congress

-       Sept. 24-25 New York for a possible stop at Ground Zero/UN

-       Sept. 25-27 The Philadelphia archdiocese

H/MCO/Legoland Hotel

US East - Florida - Orlando

Legoland is opening a hotel at the Orlando location expected to open in May 2015. We are not expecting to have it for 2015 but the US Team is hoping to get a contract for it.

H/MCO/Sapphire Falls

US East - Florida - Orlando

Universal is adding another resort called Sapphire Falls in 2016. It is not a "Deluxe" resort and will not include the Universal Express pass. We are expecting to contract this.

-          She advised when sending an investigation to please thoroughly look into the scenario as they have limitations to what they can supply to us as the contracts are not in house.

o   If product shows minimum nights in our system and not on the official hotel website- agent or product support please contact hotel to get the OK to have guests stay for the number of nights they are seeking.

o   For occupant limitations- please contact hotel to get the OK to have the number of people in the room agent is seeking.

-          For other issues- such as link not working, inventory message, etc- you can send investigation.

-          If content team is not able to resolve the issue with any link properties and further investigation is needed, an email will have to be sent to the Caribbean Product Team so the supplier may be contacted. (Direct from Marisol)

-          Overall, please be aware that product team does not have all the information in house. Most cases that are being sent over can be resolved by contacting the hotel.

-          Remember team- **One Touch** ;)

2.       14 New Hotels in the Caribbean we will be contracting.

-          We cannot do one offs  yet for the 14 new hotels as supplier info (D-A Screen) is not yet in the system.

-          Procurement is currently reviewing contracts and content will be loading. No ETA as to when- may take some time.
